Police investigating fatal stabbing Tuesday night

UPDATE: The Prince Albert Police Service have reported the victim of last nights stabbing incident as 33-year-old Kayla Renee Aubichon. The police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact them.

The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) are investigating a stabbing incident that resulted in the death of a woman last night.

It happened just before midnight. Police were dispatched to the 100 Block of 13^th Street W.

A woman was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance and died from her injuries.

“This is still very early in the investigation,” PAPS spokesperson Charlene Tebbutt told paNOW. “Investigtors from the Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Section are working on this as we speak.”

This is the second reported homicide in P.A.in the last three days after police responded to an incident in the early morning of July 27.
