CEO of Victoria Hospital Foundation Appointed to Board of The Association of Fundraising Professionals

Our Board of Directors is proud to announce that Sherry Buckler, CEO of the Victoria Hospital Foundation (VHF) has recently been appointed to the Board of The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) –Saskatoon Chapter as the Program Chair.

In this role, Sherry will be responsible for the preparation and execution of educational programs for Saskatoon Chapter AFP members.

The Saskatoon Chapter was founded in 1999 and serves the city of Saskatoon and surrounding area.

Their mission is to advance philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising.

On behalf of the VHF Board of Directors, Lyle Karasiuk extends congratulations to Sherry on this appointment.

Sherry’s leadership and experience will be a great resource as the Foundation continues to work with our Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) partners on the planning for the Victoria Hospital redevelopment tha was announced in early March of this year.
