Feeding Our Community Food Drive

We are excited to join forces with our Feeding the Future partners, Lakeland Ford and Hyundai, Conexus Credit Union, and The Broda Group, to have a Food Drive for the Prince Albert Food Bank from June 15th — 21st at our Prince Albert Food Store!

We are selling pre-packaged $10 and $20 Hunger Bags for the Prince Albert Food Bank at the Prince Albert Food Store and Lakeland Ford and Hyundai. When you purchase a Hunger Bag for the Food Bank between June 15th — June 21, YOU will be entered to win a 90 second shopping spree at the Food Store!

• Purchase a $10 Hunger Bag during the Food Drive, you will receive 1 entry for the shopping spree.
• Purchase a $20 Hunger Bag during the Food Drive, you will receive 3 entries for the shopping spree.

We also have our Prince Albert Food Bank joining us on Thursday June 18th at the Food Store to accept monetary donations. All monetary donations will receive an entry for the shopping spree!

We are looking forward to seeing our Prince Albert community come together so that everyone can have food on their tables this summer!

More information about Feeding Our Future program:

Feeding our Future is a food program that was created to provide emergency lunches for students of the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division and the Prince Albert Catholic School Division who arrive at school without a lunch. Each lunch consists of supplies to make a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a yogurt. This program is sponsored by four local partners Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited, Lakeland Ford and Hyundai, the Broda Group and Conexus Credit Union. The program started December 1, 2016, since then over 192 THOUSAND emergency lunches have been provided to students. The Feeding our Future program is intended to be an ongoing commitment. All four sponsors believe that it is important that we support our local students with whatever means possible. We are overjoyed to see how appreciative the teachers and students are of this program and the impact it has made. Our youth is our future, we want our children to have every tool to succeed in their future endeavors.
