SaskCyberParks: Get Crafty!

Jun 1, 2020 | 11:03 AM

Caterpillars are finally hatching from their eggs and ready to begin exploring the world around them! These wiggly friends are a joy to watch and observe as they chomp on leaves and prepare themselves for their next phase of life. Here’s how to make your own little caterpillar friend at home!

What you will need:

· One long paper rectangle

· One paper circle

· Two eyes

· One short piece of pipe-cleaner or string

· Tape or glue

How to take part in the fun:

1. Fold the rectangle like an accordion.

2. Tape the eyes to the circle and draw on a mouth.

3. Tape the circle to one end of the folded paper.

4. Bend the pipe-cleaner in half and tape it behind the top of the circle.
