Bears finish off series with Wildcats

The Prince Albert Northern Bears finished off their season series with the Swift Current Wildcats, but not the way they wanted to.
They were swept in Swift Current in two games this weekend, falling 2-0 on Saturday and 3-1 on Sunday. Bears defender Kailee Peppler scored the lone goal for the Bears.
In fact, all five games the Bears played in January happened to be against the Wildcats. The Bears enjoyed a 5-4 win on Jan. 3, and a 3-2 victory on Jan. 4 before a 3-0 defeat on Jan. 5.
The Bears will host the first place Regina Rebels on Feb. 8 and 9 for their next action.
