Parkland Ambulance report incidents on Christmas and Boxing Day

Parkland Ambulance is reporting a busy holiday season the last couple of days.

According to a media release, on Christmas morning they responded to a collision involving a snowmobile in the Anglin Lake area. When the ambulance arrived, they attended to a 60-year-old man with injuries. He was then transported to hospital in good condition.

Later in the evening, at 9:13 p.m. they also responded to a motor vehicle collision on highway 2 north near Spruce home. Three people were not injured. Although members of Parkland Ambulance helped an injured 60-year-old man and took him to hospital where he was in good and stable condition.

On Boxing Day, at 10 a.m. they were called to a collision on Highway 11 south of the city 20 km. They attended to two people at the incident, a 50-year-old man with injuries taken to hospital in good and stable condition and a 30-year-old man with serious but stable injuries. He is receiving care at the Royal University Hospital.

At 11 a.m. they were called to 6th Ave. and 15th street East for a vehicle vs pedestrian incident. They attended to an injured 50-year-old woman and was transported to hospital afterwards in good and stable condition.
