The Prince Albert Northern Bears were swept for the second straight weekend, this time against the undefeated Regina Rebels in the province’s capital. The Rebels won Saturday’s game 4-1, and followed that up with a 6-0 win over the Bears on Sunday.

The game was also the third in the last three days for the Bears. They now have seven wins and six defeats to begin the campaign.

Kailey Ledoux scored the lone goal for the Bears in the weekend. Neena Brick, the leading scorer in the Sask Female Midget AAA hockey League, had a pair of goals and three points on Sunday, and a goal and two assists on Saturday.

The Bears play on the road for their next three games, taking on the Saskatoon Stars on Dec. 14 and 15, and the Battlefords Sharks on Dec. 19. They’ll play at home on Dec. 22 against the Rebels.
