Sandy Bay man on life support following attack

A total number of six people have been charged in connection to a violent incident in Sandy Bay last week.

According to RCMP, they received a call at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 21, regarding numerous people threatening to injure a man in his residence. Soon after, a 26-year-old victim was found by officers suffering from severe injuries. There were also numerous windows broken in the home as well as furniture and appliances severely damaged.

Officers provided first aid to the victim until EMS arrived on scene. The victim was then transported via air ambulance to hospital in Saskatoon with what were believed to be serious, life-threatening injuries.

Speaking with family members on Monday, paNOW was informed the man remained on life support.

Two adults and four youth have been charged, and they all made their first court appearances Monday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Kobe Ray, 19, and Fabian Morin, 21, have been remanded to Nov. 26. The names of the other co-accused cannot be released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
