Nov 19, 2019 | 11:52 AM

A 19-year-old woman has died after a two vehicle collision on Highway 2, two kilometres north of Wakaw.

RCMP responded to the scene at 9:13 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18.

The deceased was the only occupant of the car driving South, and she was declared dead at the scene.

A 58-year-old man driving the SUV heading North was taken to hospital with what are reported to be serious injuries.

A female youth passenger in the SUV was uninjured.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor at this time, and road conditions were wet and visibility was clear at the time of the collision.

The cause of the crash has not been determined, and the investigation continues.

The RCMP news release said EMS, Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist, Wakaw Fire Department, Saskatchewan Coroners Service, and Prince Albert Victims Services all attended the scene.
