Three inmates escape near Pinehouse Lake

Pinehouse Lake RCMP are searching for three men who escaped lawful custody between Monday and today.

Jesse Chanalquay, born 1989, Brent Mosquito, born 1998, and Clifford McKenzie, born 1981, were reported missing to the Pinehouse Lake RCMP at 8 a.m. this morning.

All three men were last seen at 11 p.m. yesterday during a head count at the Besnard Lake Correctional Camp.

Police believe the men are travelling together and are headed for either Dillon or Île-à-la-Crosse.

Chanalquay is described as slender, Indigenous, 5-11, 141 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a mustache on his right fingers.

Mosquito is described as Indigenous, 5-8, 175 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos, including a wright on his left arm, a cross, snack and tribal art on his right arm, a skull on his left hand, the numbers 2319 on his cheek, the numbers 2319 West Side Outlaws Gang on his right hand, and 2319 West Side Outlaws Gang on his right knuckles.

Mosquito is described as Indigenous, 5-8, 175 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. Mackenzie is described as Indigenous, 5-7, 161 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He also has several tattoos including a cross and wings on his right arm, a star, ribbon, skull, happy face, chain and cross on his right hand. He has a bore and crosses on his right hand fingers, the number 78 on his neck, the number 1911 on his forehead and two teardrops on his right cheek.

Police have issued a warrant for all three. If you have any information on the location of the three individuals, you are urged to contact the nearest police agency or the Pinehouse Lake RCMP. Anonymous calls to Crime Stoppers can also be made.
