Art Show and social event set for Sunday
Some of the leading talent in Prince Albert will be on display for the 41st annual Kyla Art Show Sunday evening. There’s a new venue for the popular event along with some added atmospheric fun to help highlight the theme which is A Tribute to Prince Albert, Past Meets Present.
It all happens at Plaza 88 at 7:30 p.m.
“We’re setting up the space like a little Prince Albert with streets signs such as Central Avenue, and that sort of thing, so that’ll be fun,” one of the organizers and artists Kim Morrall told paNOW. “And the artists will set themselves apart for the evening with the women wearing fascinators and the men with top hats.”
Over 20 artists, who work with various media, will be showing off their creations and Morrall said they had all been asked to produce a piece that reflects Prince Albert in some way. Items are for sale and the event also features background music, food and refreshments.
