Premier Scott Moe is safe after hunkering down in Tokyo just as a powerful typhoon battered the Japanese city.
Moe has been on a trade mission in Asia and said some of the Saskatchewan delegation travelled to South Korea ahead of schedule to avoid the storm.
On Twitter Saturday night, Moe said their thoughts were with those affected by the deadly typhoon, noting Japan has been “incredibly friendly and welcoming.”
