Police investigate aggravated assault in Midtown

The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed they are investigating an aggravated assault that happened early Wednesday morning at 12th St. and Fourth Ave. E.

Around 4 a.m., police were dispatched to the area after receiving a weapons complaint. A 19-year-old man was soon after found with multiple stab wounds. He was transported by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries.

One man has been taken into custody in relation to the incident and charges are pending according to police. The matter remains under investigation.
