Prince Albert’s Danny Klughart saved the best for last at the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Klughart shot an even-par 71 to close out his four-round tournament on Friday and finished in a tie for 17th overall in the nation.
Klughart was very consistent throughout the week. He had a 72 and a 73 and sat in the top 10 after two days, but shot a 79 on Day 3 before rebounding with 71.
Saskatoon’s Dave Stewart, who grew up in Prince Albert, finished 32nd overall at +18 for the tournament.
