Saskatchewan Roughrider Dan Clark was hurt in a car crash Tuesday afternoon.

The offensive lineman was in a single vehicle accident while traveling home from a community event. He was speaking to kids at a school in Cudworth, about three hours northwest of Regina.

Clark was taken to hospital for assessment following the crash.

In an email from the football club Clark was described as “currently stable and alert.”

Clark, 30, was signed by the Green and White in 2009 having spent time playing for the Regina Thunder.

He lives in Regina with his wife and daughter.
