Scouts Hosting Pinewood Derby

The 4th PA Scout Group is holding it’s 2nd Annual Pinewood Derby at Riverside School on April 13th, 2019.

The event runs from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with Beavers starting at 9, Cubs at 11:30, and Scouts at 1 o’clock.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have been hard at work designing and building vehicles.

The Pinewood Derby is their chance to show them off and race them for great prizes. Youth from several Scout groups from PA and area will be participating.

There are speed and distance events as well as straight line and closest to the target contests. Admission is free for spectators.

There will be a canteen with proceeds going toward funding the Scouts’ trip to the Pacific Jamboree in Victoria, BC this summer.
