Young child dies after being struck by vehicle outside Art Hauser Centre

The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed they are investigating the death of an infant girl, struck by a vehicle Sunday night in the Art Hauser Centre parking lot.

According to a news release from police, the truck travelled at a very low speed when it struck the girl. She was transported by ambulance to hospital where she died.

The girl’s age has been confirmed as 11 months.

The Police Service and the coroner’s office are working together to investigate this incident, which took place prior to the final game of the Senator’s Cup.
