New city app

City signs on to new garbage, recycling app

Can’t remember when to put out your bins?

The city has announced a new app to help local residents plan and manage their garbage and recycling pickups. The city is now working with the app provider Recycle Coach to help residents better manage their schedules.

Using the new app, residents will be able to search their schedule by address, set email reminders of pickup dates, export their pickup schedule to an online calendar and download a paper copy, if needed. The program also includes information about what can, and can’t, go into your recycling bins.

More information about the app can be found online through the city’s website. Recycle Coach can be downloaded to your phone from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
