Grass fires and crashes keep local fire depts. busy on Sunday
A pair of crashes north of Prince Albert Sunday afternoon, resulted in no injuries according to Parkland Ambulance.
Around 1:30p.m., the Lakeland Fire Department responded to a two vehicle crash in the Village of Paddockwood. Crews arrived, secured the scene, and set up traffic control.
The second crash happened at 4:30 pm, on Highway 2 at the Spruce Home turnoff. Buckland Fire and Rescue responded to the three vehicle crash. Crews were on scene for about two hours.
The Prince Albert Fire Department spend a part of their afternoon Sunday, tending to a pair of fires at Little Red River Park, on the south side of Christy Slough.
