Accused in high-speed chase back in court
Two men charged in connection with a high-speed chase outside Prince Albert earlier this week were back in provincial court Wednesday.
Anthony Junior Badger and Dustin Daniels had their cases adjourned to new dates in connection with the incident from Monday morning. Badger is set to return to court July 17, while Daniels had his case set over to Thursday.
Badger, the alleged driver in the incident, is facing charges of operating a vehicle while being pursued by a peace officer, evasion of a peace officer, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property, and violation of a probation order. Daniels, who is alleged to have been in the SUV with Badger, was charged with possession of stolen property.
RCMP said a third person, a female youth, was also in the vehicle, although she cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All three suspects are presumed innocent at this stage.
