Vancouver’s Manuel Osborne-Paradis finishes fifth in super-G at World Cup
KVITFJELL, Norway — Vancouver’s Manuel Osborne-Paradis laid down his best performance of the season in the last World Cup race before finals, capturing fifth place on Sunday in Kvitfjell, Norway.
Osborne-Paradis was just .11 off a podium finish, putting down a time of one minute 33.65 seconds.
The 33-year-old was putting up top-ten splits, right through to the finish where he made up time to cross the line in the top five.
Benjamin Thomsen of Invermere, B.C., put down his best super-G result since 2014, finishing in 21st place.
