Dec 13, 2017 | 2:29 PM

UPDATE: Nathaniel Ballantyne has been found safe.

RCMP investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 23-year-old man from Deschambault Lake.

Nathaniel Ballantyne was last seen on Dec. 9 in the Prince Albert area. He was reported missing on Dec. 12.

In a media release, an RCMP spokesperson said officers have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, but Ballantyne remains missing. The man’s family and friends say it is uncharacteristic of him to be out of contact.

Ballantyne is described as Indigenous, 6’2” tall and 179 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. When he was last seen, Ballantyne was wearing a brown jacket, black hoodie and black ski pants.

Anyone with information is urged to contact a local police station or RCMP detachment.
