Flushing program resumes in P.A.

Prince Albert’s hydraulic flushing program resumes next week beginning with residents on the flats.
Flushing is scheduled to start in Zone 1 Tuesday, May 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will run Monday through Friday for several weeks.
Residents will receive a pamphlet and yellow door hanger 24 hours before flushing starts in their neighbourhood. They are asked to not use their water until they receive a blue door hanger.
After the flushing process has been completed, there may still be a discoloration of the water. Residents are asked to run their cold water taps for five to ten minutes.
