Two arrested after police pursue stolen vehicle

Two Prince Albert residents are now facing charges after an incident on Nov. 2 involving a stolen vehicle.

Prince Albert Police said they passed the stolen vehicle that was heading eastbound in the 800 block of River Street West at approximately 8 p.m. Rather than activating their emergency lights police said they followed the vehicle at a safe distance until other officers could arrive to assist. 

Officers momentarily lost sight of the vehicle but were able to locate it in the 1300 block of 6th Ave. West where it was found abandoned.

A K-9 unit was then called to the scene and they tracked to a residence a short distance away.
