RCMP make Halloween drug bust

A dark Halloween night ended in drug bust for the Melfort RCMP.

During the evening of Oct. 31, 2015, members of the local RCMP detachment executed a search warrant on a residence in the 100 Block of 1st Ave. S. in Melfort.

After the search, they seized approximately 60 grams of cannabis marijuana, more than $700 cash and drug related paraphernalia.

Austen Jorden Macauley, 21, of Melfort, is facing five drug related charges including possession of cannabis marijuana exceeding 30 grams and drug trafficking.
