Gronlid man facing charges for possession of marijuana and weapons

A Gronlid man is facing multiple charges after a drug search at a home on Oct 11.

Melfort RCMP, with the assistance of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team and Prince Albert Police dog services, seized several marijuana plants and three-quarters of a pound of marijuana at the residence as well as two non-restricted firearms.

Ross Hanson has been charged with one count of production of cannabis marijuana, one count of possession of cannabis marijuana over 30 grams, one count of possession of cannabis resin, and one count of unauthorized possessions of a firearm.

Hanson appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday Oct. 15.
