Three person assault and other incidents keep Parkland Ambulance busy on long weekend

Parkland Ambulance Paramedics spent the Thanksgiving long weekend responding to 87 incidents. 

On Friday Oct. 9 three people were assaulted at the corner of 2nd and 15th St. W. At the scene paramedics cared for a 30-year-old woman, a 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, all with minor injuries. They were taken to hospital for further treatment. 

Friday night also saw a motor vehicle collision at Hwy 11, 5 kms South of MacDowall. A 21-year-old-man was taken by ambulance to hospital with minor injuries. 

Two cars collided Saturday night at 3rd Ave and 22nd St. W. A 25-year-old man, 22-year-old woman, and a four-month-old were cared for at the scene and then taken to hospital by ambulance.
