Emma Lake Golfers Raise over $20,000 for Give a Little Life Campaign

Emma Lake Golf Course has once again stepped up to support the Victoria Regional Hospital. The ELGC hosted two golf tournaments this year, the 4th Annual ELGC Golf Classic in July and the

18th annual Ray Ethier Memorial Golf Tournament in September.

Every year the tournaments are organized in support of the Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Give a Little Life Daycampaign. Between the two tournaments, over 200 golfers enjoyed 18 holes on the Emma Lake Golf Course, a banquet and great prizes and contests. The golfers, along with long time major sponsors such as Sylken Confectionary, Rally Motors, Econolumber, Glenmore and E&B Lumber raised over $20,000.

The funds raised will go toward the purchase of telemetry units for the Victoria Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, the focus of this year’s Give a Little Life Day campaign.“

The Victoria Hospital Foundation is ever grateful to Ross Ethier and the supporters of the Emma Lake Golf Course tournaments. Each year, many dedicated and passionate friends gather to support the hospital by raising much needed funds to equip our hospital with the most sophisticated life-saving equipment. What an inspiring example of community leadership!
