Be patient.  If you are have been starting to eat healthier or exercise or work on a new project, you may get frustrated because you aren’t seeing changes or feeling as different as quickly as you had hoped.

Be patient. Change takes time.

Be patient. Positive change is worth waiting for.

Be patient. It took you a lifetime to get into one state, it will take time to get into a renewed, healthier state.

Be patient. Building good habits is an investment in you.

Be patient. Slow, steady progress beats a short winded sprint any day.

Be patient. You are being a great role model for someone else.

Be patient. When you are patient, you are exercising your mind, as well as your body.

When change doesn’t come as quickly as you’d like, don’t give up, be patient with yourself and with the process, it’s just one more way you can live Your Life, Unlimited!

This week on Your Life, Unlimited radio I was joined by Dr. Gayle Carson author of How to Be an S.O.B.  The Spunky Old Broad who kicks butt!  During our spunky (of course) conversation we talked about some things you can do to add a little more spunk to your life – whether it’s a complete reinvention of yourself or just a few tweaks to kick up your game a bit.

She has some crazy stats in her book that made me say …what?? For example, we have 3000 abrasive incidents a month and 5 minutes of negative thinking takes 24 hours of recovery.  Holy cow, batman!

Also joining me was Ernie Bart and Jan Nato from Art Beat Studio in Winnipeg. Mb. When Ernie’s son Nigel was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at age 19 – Nigel’s love for art inspired his family to start a safe place for artists with a mental illness to create. Listen to their inspiring story and more here:
