Record number of Saskatchewan finalists in Canadian Tourism Awards
Saskatchewan made a big impression on tourists in 2015, leading to five nominations for the Canadian Tourism Award.
The Ness Creek Music Festival in Big River was nominated for Event of the Year. Last year it was nominated for Marquee Event of the Year.
The festival attracted more than 4,000 people this summer to see headliners Buck 65, Justin Rutledge, Bombolesse, and the Moondoggies.
This year the Ness Creek Music Festival is up against Canmore Uncorked Food & Drink Festival in Canmore, Alberta, and the Canyon Lights event at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver, British Columbia to win the award.
