Police investigating bear spray and weapons incidents

Several people required medical attention this weekend as fights took a violent turn. 

The Prince Albert Police Service responded to a disturbance on the 700 block of 32nd St. E. just after 11:30p.m. Friday night.

An adult man and woman were sprayed with bear repellent after a fight broke out. They both received medical treatment.

So far no arrests have been made.

Just before 11p.m. Saturday night, Police were called to the 1600 block of 2nd Ave. W. for a weapons call. A 16-year-old girl had been assaulted and suffered a cut to her face. Her injuries were treated by paramedics.

The suspect fled the scene. Police are continuing to investigate.

Prince Albert Police responded to over 230 calls for service between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.
