Jared Bear’s mom organizing remembrance walk on the anniversary of his death
This July marks the one year anniversary of the death of Jared Bear.
On July 26, 2014, the young boy was out riding his bike with friends on the shoulder of Highway 3, near the Muskoday First Nation. He was struck by a car and later died in hospital.
Now, one year later, Bear’s mom Raelene Adam is organizing a walk from their house to the accident site on the anniversary of his death. They will finish with a barbeque and release lanterns and balloons in his honour.
She said they are still struggling day to day.
