P.A. Fire Fighters Charity replaces stolen funds for charity
The Prince Albert Fire Fighters Charity has stepped up to help out a good cause.
Firefighters Stephane Gaudet and Ben Hunter were on hand at Price Breakers to present a cheque for $500 to owner Chelsea Reid on Monday morning.
The donation replaced the fundraising money stolen from a cash box last week that Reid and other organizers were using to fund their yearly Parking Lot Party for Muscular Dystrophy.
Reid said she chose to donate to the Muscular Dystophy because it’s close to her heart, as she lost a friend to the disease.
