Prince Albert artists say art grants rock
Art grants totaling $21,330 are benefitting two local artists and an elementary school in Prince Albert.
The Saskatchewan Arts Board has allocated $1.2 million in grants for over 110 projects and organizations this year.
Lillanohna Naytowhowcon, also known as Lina Razor, received $3,830. This is the second time she has received a grant from the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
“This is money that is going towards buying new equipment for myself. A new amp, some new cables. With the last grant I got myself a Mac computer and studio mic,” said Naytowhowcon.
