Man tased at Craven after an alleged fight with police
A 21-year-old man who was tased after a fight with police is just one of the many arrests made at the Craven Country Jamboree so far.
According to RCMP, around 12:45 p.m. on Friday a truck was spotted in the campground driving erratically and aggressively.
Because the truck was close to people, officers flashed their emergency lights. That’s when Staff Sgt. Brad Lazicki said a man got out of the truck, walked into the crowd and started to run, “Apparently to avoid the police.”
Officers managed to catch up to the man, but they got into an altercation, so an officer tased him.
