Woman shows up for takeout, gives birth in Saskatoon Montana’s

A Montana’s manager in Saskatoon delivered more than just food Wednesday night after a woman went into labour.

A couple came into Montana’s on Eighth Street around 10:30 p.m. to pick up a takeout order. The woman went into the bathroom before going into labour.

“There was a commotion and my manager … helped deliver a baby girl into the world,” general manager Tanya Kalyn said.

Kalyn said the staff is only trained in first aid so her manager waited for paramedics to arrive to cut the cord.
