VIDEO: Kinsmen Water Park opening in grand fashion

It’s a place where kids can run around and have fun, and adults can re-live their childhoods. 

After much ado, the Kinsmen Water Park’s slides are once again flowing.

The slides were originally closed last May after they were deemed unsafe. After a year-long campaign to ‘Save Our Slides’, renovations were able to be completed.

On Thursday, kids were enjoying their last week of school on field trips to the park.

For all those who didn’t get a chance to visit yet, entrance will be half price this weekend for their official ‘grand re-opening’.

For the risk takers out there, be sure to check out the yellow slide, which is a little bit zippier than the green.

And remember– every Thursday this summer will be Kinsmen Family Fun Days, which means everyone can get in for $3 after 5 p.m.
