Regina’s Farm Progress Show welcoming 45,000 people
The biggest trade show in Canada kicks off in Regina this week.
The opening ceremony for the 38th Farm Progress Show is Tuesday evening with events and exhibits open Wednesday showing off the latest innovations in farming technology.
Every hotel room in the city is sold out; 45,000 people are expected to attend the Farm Progress Show. An extra 100 rooms are being used at the University of Regina with overflow in Moose Jaw.
“We have 350 more hotel rooms this year than we did last year and we filled them all,” said show manager Shirley Janeczko.
