Two men arrested in separate child pornography investigations

Two Saskatoon men have been arrested on child porn charges in two separate police investigations.
 
Police arrested John Mravnik, 61, on May 20 and searched his Forest Grove home. They seized several computers and storage devices.
 
Then on May 21, police arrested 30 year old Braden Bardell.
 
Again, numerous computers and storage devices were taken form his Lakeview home as well as illegal drugs.
 
Mravnik is charged with accessing child pornography and possession of child pornography.  Bardell is charged with possession of child pornography and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The two men’s activities were not related.

Mravnik’s next court appearance is June 10.  Bardell appeared in court Friday and will make his next court appearance on May 25.
