May 21 – 10:00 am-2:30 pm – The Cross and Oraison: Elements of the Spirituality of St. Eugene De Mazenod – On December 3, 1995 Eugene De Mazenod was named a saint by and for the Universal Church. As a Missionary Oblate I was delighted. The writings of St. Eugene are rich in their ability to instruct and encourage. Today we will look at his understanding of the Cross and the practice of oraison and how it is that they shaped St. Eugene’s missionary spirituality.

May 21 – 7:00 pm-8:30 pm – St. Eugene De Mazenod: A Word of Hope for the Weary – St. Eugene had a special love for the poor. Today our Oblate community continues that tradition and in our official documents we highlight the need to be attentive to those who struggle to nourish hope. This evening will look briefly at how the Oblate vision nurtures hope in our world today.
