Missing Stanley Mission man located

RCMP released a statement Wednesday, informing the media that Daniel Adam Charles had been located by searchers, safe and sound.

Charles was reported missing on Monday afternoon around 2:45 p.m.

He had been last seen on May 9 leaving in his boat from Grandmother’s Bay, and the boat was later discovered empty Tuesday morning along Churchill River.

Officials believed at the time he left the boat and headed towards Highway #102 just north of Missinipe.
