Man hurt in small plane crash near Preeceville

A man is in hospital in Regina after a small plane crash near Preeceville on Tuesday night.

The RCMP confirms that an ultralight plane crashed around 7 p.m., a few kilometres east of Preeceville in the ditch near Highway 49. He was the only person in the plane and was taken to hospital via STARS.

The RCMP hasn’t released his name, age or where he is from. They also have not said what injuries he has.

The RCMP and the Transportation Safety Board are now investigating.
