Earth Day – Seedy Saturday

The 68th UN General Assembly declared 2015 the International Year of Soils. With that theme in mind we organized this year’s celebrations including lots of local talent and expertise.

Earth Day/Seedy Saturday will be held April 25, 2015 at the John M. Cuelenaere Library.

• 10:30-Presentation by Cindy Nikoliason-CEO Back to Your Rots Soil Solutions, Inc.: The Importance of Healthy Soils in the Production of Healthy Food
• 11:30-Welcome from City
• 11:45-Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce Project announcement
• 12:00 PM-Growing Cities (film about Urban Gardening-Community Gardens
• 1:30 PM-Presentation by Larry Marshall-Organic farming
• 2:15-Music by Meryl and Friends
• 3:00-Music by Constant Reminder

There will be a children’s activity provided by the library in partnership with PA and District Chamber of Commerce.
