Highway 354 voted CAA’s worst road in Saskatchewan
Highway 354 between Highway 11 and Dilke has been awarded the dubious honour of the worst road in the province.
For nearly a month, between March 25 and April 17, more than 4,500 votes were cast by Saskatchewan drivers in CAA’s annual Worst Roads Campaign. They called the torn-up condition of the highway “awful and dangerous”.
The runner-up is Highway 4 near Val Marie. Highways 322 and 220 leading to Rowan’s Ravine were ranked third and fifth, described by voters as “unbelievable”. Highway 36 near Coronach finished fourth.
“This year’s campaign captured a lot of interest from motorists including CAA Members, with representation of roads and highways from all around the province,” said Christine Niemczyk, CAA’s director of corporate communications and public relations in a news release.
