Poverty Costs
We’re writing to you today to tell you about an upcoming community-driven campaign called Poverty Costs, launching March 10th, 2014.
The Poverty Costs campaign will raise awareness about the cost of poverty in Saskatchewan, recently calculated to be $3.8 billion each year in heightened service use and missed opportunity, and to give the community a way to voice their support for a comprehensive poverty reduction plan. This an exciting opportunity for Saskatchewan people to show their support for a plan that will truly benefit us all.
We hope you'll have a chance to familiarize yourself with the campaign messages, and consider some of the following actions:
1. Show and circulate the campaign teaser video and handbill (attached above) to and among your colleagues, friends, family and other connections
