RCMP release new clues about fatal hit and run

The RCMP continues to investigate a fatal hit and run on Montreal Lake Cree Nation, last weekend.

A 49-year-old man was found lying on a road early Sunday morning. Efforts to revive him failed.

Mounties said the man was at a local residence prior to being struck by the suspect vehicle.

Several items of black plastic were found near the accident scene. Investigators believe they may have come from the front bumper of the vehicle.

The investigation is being led by the Prince Albert GIS unit as well as members from Waskesiu, Montreal Lake and the Saskatoon Major Crimes Unit.
