A 21-year-old Fort Qu'Appelle man is dead and Mounties are treating it as a homicide investigation.

The body of the man was discovered just before 4 a.m. Saturday morning in an alley of a residential area in Fort Qu'Appelle.

“No charges have been laid and no arrests have been made in connection with this incident at this time,” said Sgt. Neil Tremblay said, adding that they will not be releasing the cause of death at this time.

Tremlay says RCMP had assistance from a number of other agencies including the coroner's office and Regina Major Crimes. They have since finished processing the crime scene.
