To Save a Life Group Busy Promoting Their Message
We have begun to forge the way towards the Northern Communities of Saskatchewan as our heart is to reach as many First Nations schools and communities as possible with the 'To Save a Life' project.
On Friday, February 11th we were on the Thunderchild First Nation Reserve presenting at the Piyesiw Awasis School. There were 70 students, 10 teachers and the Director of Education popped in for a visit during the event.
The event was well received and the students responded by telling us what they learned from the film & presentation and how they are going to step out and help their friends.
The team spent the rest of the school day with the students interacting with them even attending a Chemistry lab class, help with a basketball drill, and sitting down in a mass group session talking with them about their hopes and dreams, encouraging the students to stay in school, letting them know that they need to have dreams and strive for them.
