Prince Albert Kiwanis Music Festival Competition Coming Soon

The Prince Albert Kiwanis Club would like to thank everyone who supported the “KYLA ART SHOW AND SALE” and also those Prince Albert Businesses and individuals who purchased Christmas cakes from the club.

These two fundraisers were successful thanks to the citizens of PA and area.

The next project of the Kiwanis club is to assist with the Prince Albert Kiwanis Music Festival.

The festival allows, particularly the youth of the area, to exhibit musical talents in voice and instrumental categories. The schedule is as follows:

–          Vocal/Musical Theatre/Speech Arts/Choral competition: March 13th-15th at Rivier Academy

–         Strings competition: March 23rd-24th at Rivier Academy.

–         Piano competition: March 28th-31st at Calvary United Church.

–         Band: April 4th-6th at various schools in Prince Albert.

–         Instrumental: Woodwind/Brass/Percussion: April 11th-14th at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Concerts are held at the end of the various competitions which are a showcase of the talent of the competitors.

The public is welcome to attend all of the competitions and concerts.

The Prince Albert Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday at noon in the Diefenbaker room at the Travelodge. We welcome anyone who may be interested in joining Kiwanis and will gladly buy you lunch if you care to join us for lunch on Tuesdays.
