Raiders defeat Hitmen 4-0
The Prince Albert Raiders defeated the Calgary Hitmen 4-0 on Tuesday night in Prince Albert to jump ahead of the Swift Current Broncos in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Rookie goaltender Eric Williams stopped all 29 shots in the victory to pickup his first WHL career shutout in the victory.
The Raiders opened the scoring at 5:08 of the first period when Jonathan Parker and Antoine Corbin broke in two on one on the Hitmen defence. Corbin fed the pass to Parker who kept the puck and wristed it past Hitmen goaltender Brandon Glover.
